Wednesday night we had a bit of wind. I've been trying to help clean up but there's just too much structural damage to start anywhere. The entire roof was lifted up and set back down off kilter. It's a massive barn too, at least 100' long.

İmage

That's the S side, the N side got blown out too but not as bad.

Needed: Very large crane and plenty of strapping under the trusses to lift it off completely. Most all of it could be re-used when reassembled.

Glad the damage wasn't worse nor included livestock.

None of the tin can be, it gets brittle with age would be like trying to re-use an eggshell, fine until it's broken then useless. She got a good carpenter and he's mending it hi5.gif

WR, no, not Jillie's owner, this one lives up the road a mile or two. She's the one who puts on the gymkhanas. Beer swilling pot smoking bi-polar potty mouth and a helluva lot of fun beercheer.gif
