Quote:When one hears the word meditation, it conjures an image of Maharishi Yoga talking about finding a mantra and striving for nirvana. . . . The purpose of such meditation is to empty oneself. . . . [Satan] is happy to invade the empty vacuum of your soul and possess it. That is why people serve Satan without ever knowing it or deciding to, but no one can be a child of God without making a decision to surrender to him. Beware of systems of spirituality which tell you to empty yourself. You will end up filled with something you probably do not want.

mm I agree generally, I never understood 'meditation' anyway, still don't, but generally left-hand path stuff can invite the demonic into your life. If you talk to an Indian about yoga, like there used to be one on GLP, he doesn't think westerners should do it, I asked well, what about just for muscle tone/exercise, what with all the sitting/office type jobs in western countries and he wasn't keen on the idea, thinks it's basically a spiritual practice and you need to be aware of that.

yoga and meditation does not open you up to satanic forces.. that is complete rubbish..

doing hardcore drugs for a length of time, will.. as you leave your body and are an open door for anything hanging around.. same goes for prescription painkillers.. and being heavily down and depressed as that is a green light for low lying entities, to come and attacvh themselves..

ive had a western Yogi as a friend who spent most of his adult life living in an ashram in India, help me when my own awakening started about 7 years ago.. i never, ever heard him mention such things.. i never got into yoga, i was led to the asian arts of qigong.. and that is my daily practice for about an hour most days.. and that does not open you up to satanic forces either..

i know why the church wouldnt want people to meditate, because they awaken enough to see through the heavy darkness that is the church and all the heavy mind control..

there is nothing more peaceful than meditating.. coffeetime.gif

Besides...yoga classes in western countries tend to be pick up joints for people who have to get off the booze, like uh whatsisname, the ex-Mr Katy Perry and Australia's Judith Lucy, mixed classes wearing clinging gym gear, doing lotsa bending and stretching....

Fear, anger and negativity will fill you up with "satanic forces". Just getting rid of your own baggage and bullshit shouldn't leave you with a vacuum, but filled with love. Optimally.

No, I went one once, in Paddington, Sydney. Seemed like pretension/pick-up central.

No, I fear God. Happy to do so. When you fear something you give it power over you, so I'm happy to fear God. God is pretty scary. I laugh at satan, however.

thats where i live.. you would have to expect a Paddington yoga class to be a bit pretentious.. i have to dress up to go the local supermarket..

i know loads of people that do yoga and none of them have ever picked up there..

Tasmania would be a better suited place for you to try it.. Paddington would be out of your comfort zone.. and would be daunting for most people..
