That's beautiful! hi5.gif There is a very special and extremely rare flower I spotted yesterday. Didn't have the phone with me so I couldn't take a pic, but we're taking Mason for a walk in a few.
It's spectacular!

As I may never get to venture to your neck of the woods and love wildflowers, taking pics of them and posting them here will thrill me.

Absolutely lovely rose US! yay.gif Yes, we'll take the good camera with us on our walk today. One of the midsummer traditions here is for girls to pick 7 different wild flowers in the evening, put the bouquet under the pillow and you'll dream about who you're going to marry. Of course that never happened, but a nice excuse to pic flowers anyway.

Well, for an update on my garden, which is mostly perennial, my green beans didn't do well, nor my strawberries. I now know I will have to build a foot deep enclosure for any successful veggie growing venture in the future. I tasted one strawberry and it was tasteless and watery.

My wildflower and butterfly garden didn't take off, I guess I spread the seeds in too shady of an area.

But my herbs did well and I have been enjoying fresh Italian Parsley on everything...what a difference when fresh herbs are added to foods. drool.gif

I did paint some clay pots and that added a nice spash of colour and interest, as well as hubby and I purchased a dragonfly with stained-glass wings, and so I nailed it to my Elderberry tree.
