Willow can also be used as a rooting hormone.

Thanks! It'd be a big project and I'd want to get it right, alignment and all but I certainly have the time and space.

I recently surveyed my garden and now I know what to do with the broken ceramic containers.

A shaman told me the little people are actually moss covered stones and when called upon they will guide you to their forest world. But, I will probably make them an outdoor BBQ area as I am sure they are in need of a good party.

Good morning Kritters, today will be a nice sunny day, so back out into the garden I will tread.

That's an interesting idea Shadow, but I mix peat moss into my soil mixture and it really holds quite a bit of water too. I also have those glass globes that I fill with water, which dip slowly.

I look for ways to cut down on the work required for gardening and maintenance because life is too short to work hard.

Huh, reusing and painting wine bottles would be a good option for me. lol.gif

I think I'll try the diaper idea in my hanging baskets, I've used peat but maybe this will work better, they drain fast and hang in the sun. Some sort of moisture retention would be nice. I wouldn't use it in anything I plant to eat though.

I have to move my big planter in the front yard, I didn't put landscape cloth down slap.gif when I placed the cement blocks and the crab grass is taking over.
