So, just a quick update. My son pays me $160 every two weeks just for his nice room with a/c, his share of the electrical, and basically his lunch for the week.

Lately, he's fudging on the $160, giving me $120 and saying I'll pay you the other $40 next week, or I'll pay you the $40 in three days....he knows I'll end up saying....just forget it, which I do, because I work too hard, and study too hard, to do arithmetic during the week! Meh!

I guess I don't need to tell you ... you aren't doing him any favors babying him. And resentment is building in you too, that ain't healthy US.

Update: I had a talk with him and said, no more of this 'I'll pay you later business'. It's all the money up front. He agreed and I hope he can follow through. This is all new for him too. Live and learn.

The upcoming generation, specifically 'first time home buyers' will have tall hurdles to jump when purchasing their first home, and paying the hefty mortgage over 25 years (reduced from 30 years).

What with rising tuition rates, lack of good paying jobs, added difficulty in purchasing power, their future looks bleak to me.

Reminds me of a joke I don't remember...

Goes a little something like this:

Son: Dad, what is the key to the narrow path?

Dad: Poverty my son. Poverty.

The future is as bleak as is allowed to become

there is that self responsibility factor again.

anyone
everyone
all of us

MAKE our own future.

we can make it out of ashes, during very hard times.

Self Actuated people do it always.

Motivation always

without that

future is very bleak

a feeling of hopelessness
is a FEELING

not an actuality
unless a person creates it into THEIR actuality..,,,,,

yesterday
i witnessed a Woman walk into a store

open her shït hole and attempt once again a Passive Aggressive attack on another person
for about the 50th time that i have seen her do it.

i succumb to the urge
and put that HAG in her place

I stated to her target: No matter what you do in life, good or bad buddy,,,
there is always some HAG like this,,,

WHO WILL MAKE IT AN ISSUE,,,

These, live Miserable lives,,, and LOVE to create Misery for others
just for the company .

She walked into the store
her target victim was shirtless

she stated : NO SHIRT, NO SHOES, NO SERVICE

I stated: This town just had a Naked Bicycle ride
YOU,,, stood on the curb rooting them on,,,,

and you have a problem with him not wearing a shirt?

She responded: Naked People,,, where, I don't see any

I cut her off,,,

a Brain like yours,,, see's only darkness Hag,,,

Go home and suck the blood out of your house plants.

POINT: YOU, Make YOUR World,,,

ask yourself,,, WHAT DID I MAKE ?

Because YOU, KNOW,,,, YOUR answer.

That's a nice thought, but looking at economic factors around the world and here in Canada too, it doesn't look promising. Maybe a few will break through and make a very good living, but not without a struggle. Even the doctors here in Canada are being gouged by the government and are warning that they will be leaving (10-15%) for the U.S.A. That will hurt us all.

there was a time in human history

when a small cave was a blessed home

one day,,,
one wiseguy cave man

mixed up some juices and made some stain

he painted a few glyphs on the walls of the cave

Next thing you know

everybody wanted Gorgeous Castles with
white satin sheets.

Then,,

the Rolling Stones Sang::::::::::::::::

You can't always get what you want,,,

but,,,
if you try sometimes
you can always get what you need.

In my application i filled out, to come into this world,

there was not a line for what i wanted,,

so i never expressed in the application,,,
that I wanted to be rich
famous
live in luxury

drive fancy cars
won swimming pools

be a landlord
and rule the hood.

I came in simple
kept it simple

expectations were simple

LIFE was simple

and the future remains mine to make

and i shall make that simple.

Some times
GRANDIOSE expectations

heh heh,,,

Success in material wealth

is not success at LIVING LIFE with great enjoyment..

down size the WANTS

and almost every complication, fear, disappointment
will down size as well.

Remember,,,
That one Particular Cave Man,,, started a mess.

I grew up in Los Angeles

Capital to: PIMP YOUR IMAGE

Cars were IMAGE

I drove junk
then i drove Mercedes to PIMP me and my IMAGE

now i drive my sailboats
where there is no one to see a PIMPED IMAGE

do the Doctors in Canada lack anything that they NEED?

is it a case of where they need MORE to uphold the IMAGE they wish to pimp ?

Must a person be a Doctor, or their life will be miserable ?

Can a person
be a bum
jump freight trains
travel the country

eat every day
sleep well every night

see the country and the world
and live a happy life?

MUST, a person,,, LIVE UP TO OTHERS EXPECTATIONS ?

Must a person prove themselves worthy of happiness by how much they OWN ?

Must a Future, hold dear a Castle in the sky with servants ?

Even the Chrome on my Mercedes would rust in the same way
it did on my VW Bus that i traveled the country in, living out of it.

I gave back the image
for the happiness,,, of freedom from concern of upholding a false Image
to impress others with.

everything i owned, that i did not NEED, was a burden to me

hard to get happy when your self imposed burden's out weigh your enjoyment of life.

Hmm, purchasing power...

when Monsatano-and-the-EU-Gov take away ecologically produced foods,
when all soap is toxic,
when Finland "becomes a tobacco free nation by 2025" 15.gif and
matches and lighters disappear,

there'll be nothing left, in any store - except clothes at the fleamarket -
that I'd want to buy.

Oh, wait...you guys were talking about the next generation.

What can I do, but hope they feel the same.
Radical change towards decentralization and self-sufficiency (according
to the fractality of Everything) is needed, badly.

Or so it seems.

Bullshit fake "economy", the absolutely vast army of suitsandties who
produce nothing but user interface for said fake "economy" for
the masses...
all that has to go.

And still, we could all live like kings and queens.
The lie that the homeland no longer can feed its inhabitants is a pure
socio-engineering construct. At least if you look around in my country.

Oh, well.

'In the hands of Jah Jah',
as my friend the Preacherman's Son would say. doobie.gif

Bless you all :)
Been a lovely Midsummer's Eve! hi5.gif cheers.gif

My family's expected future: My husband I will retire to B.C. with a little land where I will start an edible garden, preserve my little treasures, start a pickle barrel like my nana did, and delve further into natural healing with the wild flora.

If my children ever ask to move back home, in this case, to the new home, they will be welcome and I will teach them and any grandchildren how to be self-sufficient and live modestly. However, there is alot to be said for sailing, so earning a little extra money on the side for the luxuries is always a good idea.

The doctors here in Canada are lacking one thing, respect from our government.

I did the research, Oosoyoos is the target desert-like area.
