Girl Scout sells more than 300 boxes of cookies at San Diego marijuana dispensary

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The legalization of California's marijuana industry and start of Girl Scout cookie sales have created an opportune moment for at least one San Diego girl.

The scout's father told 10News his daughter has sold more than 300 boxes in a total of about 6 hours.

That was genius!

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

Quote:The San Diego Girl Scout council is looking into whether a scout who was photographed selling cookies outside a marijuana dispensary broke any rules.

Officials were trying to identify the girl and talk to her family because she was in a commercial area, which is not allowed[...]

Urbn Leaf posted a photograph of the girl on Friday outside the shop that sells medical and recreational marijuana and invited customers on its Instagram account to come get some Girl Scout cookies.

[...]

Urbn Leaf founder, Will Senn, said the girl was with her parents and was just passing by with her wagon. He said he likes to support local fundraising efforts.

“Cannabis is now legal in California and a direct result of that is the munchies a lot of times,” he joked.

The photo drew praise and criticism. Some objected to a child photographed outside a dispensary.

Marijuana is medicinal and not like alcohol, Senn countered, adding that doctors have been known to prescribe it to treat epilepsy in children.

That's isn't exactly selling cigarettes outside the liquor store, I think the cookie gig is fine.
it's time to cut that uninformed brainwashed stigma altogether.
In other news in Germany, the conservative alliance is now in talks with Free Democrats and Greens to form a governing agreement and, as part of those negotiations, are nearing completion of a deal to legalize marijuana and have it legally distributed through pharmacies, the German newspaper Stuttgarter-Zeitung is reporting.

It's a racket whereby girls and their family members are turned into a free labor market to distribute over priced machine made cookies. all the bookkeeping, gas, time, setup, costs, etc... are incurred by the family (Mom).
The money WILL be collected.

Sorry if i see it as a scam but it is what it is.

That's actually very astute, and you're 100% correct.
There are much better cookies in the world, I would have gone for the edibles in the shop myself. chuckle.gif

Water, coffee and beer is the usual for me too, but I love Iced Tea and Lemon, straight vodka, and Long Island Ice Tea.
