I'd say recording. Seems like you get answers in the same language the question is asked. I have another ghost box app on my computer we tried here recently and got some interesting words that can't possibly be artifacts of anything existing on my computer, one was the name of a tiny village right outside this town. hmm.gif

Valid question FB, like Octo said, language does not seem to be a problem after death. Very few around here speak Finnish as Swedish is the majority language in this area.

I had read fairly spectacular reviews on this, so I thought I'd give it a try. We went to the local graveyard and ask a few questions. We had some problems with it due to the fact it really needs a separate outboard speaker to function correctly, otherwise it turns into a never ending digital delay with feedback.
We ask a number of questions and got no tangible response, the EMF meter was flat as well, so we thought we would hang it up for the evening.

So on our way out I said:

"If you'd like to say anything to us now is a good...( I paused due to hearing something inaudible )... really good time"

A male voice then responds with "leave" followed by a female voice that clearly said "go" Obviously, they didn't care much for us being there. coffeetime.gif

Of course, this doesn't really prove anything, but in comparison to other ghost box apps which simply do not work, this one actually seems to provide some interesting, intelligent results.

I can't recommend getting a separate wired speaker enough, as I mentioned, it's problematic doing it off the phone speaker.

Take a listen for yourself.

<a href=http://www.filedropper.com/leave-go><img src=http://www.filedropper.com/download_button.png width=127 height=145 border=0/></a><br /><div style=font-size:9px;font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;width:127px;font-color:#44a854;> <a href=http://www.filedropper.com >File Hosting Online Storage Backup</a></div>

I'd have to give this 4.5 out of 5 stars. It takes some adjusting to set up correctly, so be willing to devote 30 min or so to learn how to make it function effectively.

A good video tutorial is here:

bad ass! creepy shït.

why wouldn't it work? :/ nominated kritters could show up on a ranking list with links to threads that led to the nomination where everyone could vote for their favorites at the end of the month and the winner would get an award. :/ of course everyone could only be nominated once per month and wouldn't be able to nominate himself. :/

I don't remember what the issue was, but it wasn't worth the hassle to modify. We'd have to develop a new plugin to do what you're suggesting hmm.gif

I think ghost hunting with the proper equipment is really the only way to get down to answering the questions of whether ghosts are real or not. However, when two of them tell you to 'leave' 'go' maybe it's time to check out another part of the graveyard.

I've used Echovox as well. Maybe it was just me, but I didn't get anything out of it that would strike me as "paranormal". Just to qualify, I've been involved in paranormal investigations for about 10 years, and I do believe that something is going on. I just don't know what.

what if those ghost voices have been built into the app to cheat their customers? hmm.gif
that would explain why finnish ghosts talk in english...

It generates random white noise, vowels and consonants. There are no words in the sound banks so 99.9% of the time, tis utter gibberish.
The theory is the spirits can manipulate that to communicate. We had absolutely nada in the way of responses until I said we we're leaving and now would be a good time to say something - to which we received the intelligent responses...
one after the other.
So far my initial observations put in in league with a Spirit Box SB-7 at a fraction of the cost, but that was just the first outing with it.
Either way, the results were very interesting.
