I am not aware of any compelling interest that would allow the government to interfere with your choice of drugs. The government has an interest in guaranteeing that drugs are of consistent quality and purity, and that is it. All of the FDA services under HHS should be eliminated and any residual functions should be rolled into the USDA (which does food inspection).

Crikey !! ( Shakes me head in bewilderment )
Hey when I was a kid I used to like toys, an huntin, an fishin, an destruction of all things beautiful
BUT THEN I GREW UP !
fancy killing a magnificent Stag , or Beautiful Marlin , JUST for Fun !!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRR HUMANS !!! The World is DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED
Ocker there are certain places a permit carrier can take a gun and certain places not. There are continual struggles as to expand places allowing guns like University campuses. Obtaining a permit 1-has to go through a training class and testing before a FBI check to get a permit or CHL (Concealed Handgun License). My opinion is the training/screening is too lenient but that's just my opinion.
Hunting and fishing I always loved and still do. Just because you fish for a Marlin does not mean you have to kill it. I've tagged and released many fish to live another day.
Hunting is a little different however a game bird in Texas is dove or dove hunting. Considered a delicacy usually smoke over a wood grill with sausage and a jalapeno pepper in the breast cavity with a slice of bacon wrapped around it is very good.
Now dove can fly about 65 mph dipping/diving etc and just plain hard to hit. My hunting buddies refer to me as the shoot and release guy. I am a much better jump shooter like quail down here or in Shadow's woods would be grouse or pheasant.
Agree with you about senseless killing of animals. A lot of people/hunters are what we call horn hunters. Looking for that perfect specimen to shoot/stuff or mount. Not my style, I do like venison but take the inferior specimens, meat tastes the same. I hunted the spikes or what most call cull bucks. If you believe in Charles Darwin's natural selection then you would see my point. I have seen overpopulated areas go through droughts and no food, witnessed deer dying from thirst and starvation and it's not pretty I can assure you.
Man has already changed the balance of nature. Natural predators like Mountain Lions, Bears, Wolves etc have been killed/depopulated as they are also a predator to farm and ranch livestock. This can and does allow overpopulation which does create a unhealthy environment in harsh conditions. Disease can set in and much more damage is done to the species than hunting. I've seen it.
Hunting is very heavily regulated and I do favor it if hunters abide by law. Law being legal bag limits and acceptable hunting lands whether private or public. Hunting is just that hunting not killing.
That's my take on it anyhow....
As far as carrying a concealed handgun, I do it, have a permit/CHL. Purely for defensive purposes. I learned 1-thing years ago. never handle a firearm if you have been drinking, are upset or any other reason other than to either shoot it or clean it. So I practice/practice/practice. Most I shoot/target shoot with at the range are either ex military friends or law enforcement.
"To: Congress and the President of the United States
Petition: Intentions to resist confiscation of firearms;
BE IT KNOWN to all Law Enforcement Personnel, Military Service Personnel including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard,
That "We the People" being the recipients and guarantors of the Constitution and Bill of Rights, by our CONSENT, do hereby make the following declaration:
That the Founding Fathers understood the need for ALL fellow Americans to have the opportunity, the freedom, and the responsiblity of defending themselves from ALL enemies both
foreign and domestic.
That to do so, it is required that the American People must have the tools and [any] weapons necessary to effectively mount a defense against ALL who would seek to Transform, Alter, Destroy or Nullify American society and culture [in order] to change it into what the Founding Fathers referred to as "servitude" to statism (or) to implement a world government whereby American laws are subservient to international laws.
Further, The Founding Fathers having fought a Revolutionary War of Independence from Great Britain, understood and stated in the "Declaration Of Independence" that unbridled government was just as likely to impose upon the People harsh laws and unfair edicts designed to squash their desire and ability to oppose or protest such government.
Be it therefore understood that we, the undersigned petitioners, are making it known to the world that ANY AND ALL ATTEMPTS by the Government of the United States Of America or any International Governmental Structure, or any companies affiliated with them, to confiscate privately owned weapons, firearms, pistols, shotguns, rifles, et al etc. shall be seen as being in violation of the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution, which is the law of the land, ....And It States:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the Right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Be it further understood that, in the event that there is an attempted confiscation of firearms from the American People by the US Government, all official or unofficial military branches of the Armed Forces and all official or unofficial branches of Law Enforcement or International Organizations (United Nations) who aid the US government in said confiscation of firearms,
SHALL BE SEEN as being in violation of the American Constitution and regarded as Enemies of the People.
It is encumbent upon all to remember that whatever actions are taken, by the military and law enforcement personnel, those actions are being executed against the will of law abiding, freedom loving, American People that may be your mothers and fathers, your grandparents, your brothers and sisters, your uncles and aunts, and your children, and the negative effects of such actions could have consequences for generations to come. Nazi Germany being a prime example.
A CALL FOR AID:
We the petitioners do hereby send out a call to all Loyal Patriots, Militias, Retired Military, Active Duty Military, Retired Law Enforcement, Active Duty Law Enforcement, Oathkeepers, firearms owners, and any and all who deem the Right To Keep And Bear Arms to be of Unalienable beginnings, shall come to the aid of these Petitioners.
BE IT RESOLVED:
In the event that there should be an attempted firearms confiscation, We the undersigned will resist with all firmness any such illegal actions, and will meet force with force."

Those weapons are already illegal and they got them illegally. Banning or making illegal weapons that are already illegal is not really productive.
I would put a bounty on them. That's how they used to get rid of beaver, muskrat, sea lamprey and rattlesnakes.
Or introduce gangs armed with automatic weapons to each other and stand back and watch the fireworks.
