Mother's Day comes once a year. Some think that if they buy their mother flowers and a card that they have fulfilled their obligation for the rest of the year. If we only comprehended a 10th of what our mothers did for us as children, and how they would literally die for us if needed, we would realize that one day is not sufficient. Mothers Day should be a time to remind us that we have been neglecting our duties as sons and daughters. This relationship is sacred let us honor our mothers.

I'm blessed enough to have both my mother and Grandma still alive and kickin. I appreciate them both and love them to pieces, but I personally don't do Hallmark Holidays. My kids know better than to buy me some random things I don't need.

Thanks K. beercheer.gif

I am speaking of the life of a man who knows that the world is not given by his fathers, but borrowed from his children; who has undertaken to cherish it and do it no damage, not because he is duty-bound, but because he loves the world and loves his children… - Wendell Berry, 1971

Thanks MEDUSA cheers.gif

I'm a proud mom of a couple of healthy, smart kids, boy and girl, 22 and 21 years old. They're very good friends as well so I think I did a pretty good job. Well, their dad had something to do with it as well. chuckle.gif

My son's going to the university this fall to get a degree studying information systems. My daughter, whose application failed at a university collage type of education in game development last time, is spending this year attending class to improve her chances to get accepted next year.

I'm grateful everyday for what I have and I assume people around me feel the same way. cheers.gif
