Sucks as we have a full day of cooking ahead of us, and when we're done, I wont even be able to taste anything we made. 15.gif

I hear ya.. same scenario for me overall except it's a Toothache.

Dip a toothbrush in regular 3% hydrogen peroxide then straight into some bicarb soda and dab it around the tooth and gum etc.. Do it every hour.. Should work.. Can stop a tooth from falling out too..
Thanx for your concern..appreciate it..
& actually what you said can make a teeth whitening toothpaste/see article/
http://www.care2.com/greenliving/51-fant...-soda.html
..better tho if you just wet toothbrush /dip in baking soda/scrub teeth../whitens them.

Bicarb soda.. Works everytime..

Quote:Day 1: take ½ teaspoon of baking soda diluted in a glass of cold water, six times a day, at about two-hour intervals.
Day 2: take ½ teaspoon of baking soda diluted in a glass of cold water, four times a day.
Day 3: take ½ teaspoon of baking soda diluted in a glass of cold water in the morning and in the evening.
After this initial period, take ½ teaspoon of baking soda diluted in a glass of cold water every morning until your symptoms are gone.

Strange, I made a pot of refried beans with lots of Chipotle... was pretty spicy and I took some baking soda for indigestion last night, so I guess I've already started the program eh?

Hey NM! Happy Thanksgiving! Sorry to hear it, that's far worse than a cold, and generally requires spending a lot of money for a root canal or worse, getting it pulled gaah.gif
I feel for you, hope it works out as inexpensive as possible, and you have the best turkey day possible under the circumstances.

There used to be a thanksgiving of sorts here, but the church nixed it as pagan. From what I recall it was around September, harvest time, time to cut down the hemp.
There was a lot of THC in that wild hemp, so it wasn't really hemp at all. A friends grandmother used to work at the factory where they made rope from it, it was real sticky and made good rope.
She stood over a big vat of hot water and stirred the hemp in it to soften it up. She said she LOVED going to work. lmao.gif
Essentially she stood over a vaporizer all day.

Thanx for your sympathy..yeah no fun at all
what are the odds..TDay & all..
Am waiting it out..see if it goes away or not
otherwise will call dentist for further inquiry/appt/ on what to do with it
sigh
I did manage to do the full TDay meal for all..on my end like I usually do..
was also invited elsewhere but turned that down..(due to tooth)
..am now just resting..try to eat somethang later..
Hope you are feeling better,,or soon..
I recommend chicken soup till it goes away/really does work-at least for me/with colds or flu
luckily.. I rarely get either.
Don't usually get toothaches either..so I am annoyed..gaah.gif
Nobody better piss me off..Grrrr....i'll give 'em a nightmare for real if they do..heh.
