It is the absolute bomb!

It's a grocery store unlike any other I've been to. Shoppers walk around while sipping on beer or wine. It is just the coolest thing. I haven't done it because 3-4 ounces of beer is all I drink these days and it's quite seldom. But the whole idea rocks!

They carry a lot of organic food, too. The store is new to the area and only the second one in Florida. So to promote their store they sent out coupons that let customers take 20% off their entire grocery bill!

You can buy everything from sushi to ramen to salads and subs and then eat what you've bought in their cafe.

There is a big chalk board to write whatever you want or to draw a picture.

Good times!

Lucky's Market is a California Thing , first store I ever shop lifted from ,
got me two big Hershy Bars , 5 double Bubble chewing Gums ,
and a Half Pint of High Ten Whisky for the Teenager who Stole a Bike to trade me
for the Whisky .

I was 6 years old , it was so easy to shoplift at Lucky's , that I made many friends at the Park
with all the Candy I handed out .
Hell , I had Girl Friends ,, plural , at 6 years old , they'd show me their Panties for a stick
of Juicy Fruit .
They'd pull the Panties down for an extra stick of Gum ,
for a Whole Pack of Juicy Fruit ,,,
I could get their Mom's Panties down .

Good Times indeed !

Not the same Lucky's. Lucky's is a Colorado based company that hasn't been in business long enough for your tall tale to be real.

It's not the same store. Period.

Your sex life - real or imagined - and your collusion in a bike theft are not all that interesting. Maybe the first time the story had some pizzazz...repeating the same stories? Eh.

To date, the company has 17 stores in 13 states. Its first store, opened in 2003, is on North Broadway in Boulder. It opened its second store in Longmont in 2013.

Sounds like he's bought a piece of cut glass from a guy on the corner, but thinks he has a diamond.

It's sort of like walking into an indoor European marketplace with a variety of businesses under one roof.

BTW, if you bring one of their shopping bags back, they give you 10 cents or they will match your 10 cent donation to one of three local charities in the community.

When I was in retail, there was a man of about 60 who would come into the store who bragged about how he stole from customers giving change while working at a grocery store when he was younger. We had to watch him like a hawk especially if we had the cash register open.

He was a decrepit old man. The last time he came in, he had bandages on his skin that looked like he might have had surgical procedures on his arms done by a dermatologist. The surgery didn't work for long apparently.

Apparently the man also had a son who shops at, or at least visits, Lucky's.
