Quote:The rider, which is officially known as the Farmer Assurance Provision, has been derided by opponents of biotech lobbying as the “Monsanto Protection Act,” as it would strip federal courts of the authority to immediately halt the planting and sale of genetically modified (GMO) seed crop regardless of any consumer health concerns.

They line the pockets of legislators so well, they are obviously the ones calling the shots. This whole thing goes to show what a farce the current system is.

Quote:This dangerous provision, which we're calling the Monsanto Protection Act, would strip judges of their constitutional mandate to protect consumer rights and the environment, while opening up the floodgates for the planting of new untested genetically engineered crops, endangering farmers, consumers and the environment.

Let the protesting and petitions begin.

The labelling of GMO food will certainly deter alot of people from eating it.

Will cancer rates among humans rise?

Quote:In a first-of-its-kind animal study, French researchers discovered that rats fed genetically engineered corn or exposed to the active ingredient in the weed killer Roundup over a long period died early, suffered mammary tumors, and also had kidney and liver damage. The GMO corn used in the study was Monsanto's NK603 seed, a variety created to live through heavy dousings of Roundup.

Thumbs up to Whole Foods for mandatory Non-GMO labelling of their products.

Quote:Even better, since 2009, the upscale grocery chain has been labeling many products that do not contain genetically modified organisms (GMO). Consumers should have that information so they can make informed decisions about what they eat."

It's a done deal. Blowbama has signed it in.

Obama betrays America yet again by signing the 'Monsanto Protection Act' into law

Quote:(NaturalNews) President Barack Obama campaigned on promises to end secret prisons, decriminalize marijuana, balance the budget, honor the Second Amendment and make health care affordable. But what really unfolded was an explosion in the national debt (now $16 trillion and climbing), the signing of the NDAA, a claimed new power to kill any American at any time, even on U.S. soil, the use of military drones to murder American children overseas, a full-on assault against the Bill of Rights, a doubling of health insurance rates and the destruction of the U.S. economy.

But that's not all.

Now Obama has signed the "Monsanto Protection Act" into law, stabbing America in the heart yet again and proving that no matter how convincing politicians appear on the campaign trail, they are still sociopathic liars in the end.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice
