There is a plant with a similar flower around here that causes strong hallucinations.

Is it called  "monkey paw"?
LOL ?

LOL! No. I just cant remember the name. It looks a lot like Queen Anne's Lace.

Yeah, it's Hemlock.
It is unrelated to the coniferous tree that bears the same common name, the Eastern Hemlock. Gardeners will recognize the finely toothed leaves and clusters of small, white flowers common on plants in this family. Queen Anne's Lace (Daucus carota), also known as Wild Carrot, is similar, with deeply cut leaves.

I was thinking that but couldn't find anything saying Hemlock would do anything besides make you really sick or kill you.

Sounds darn good to me. bob.gif

No, the few stories I hard were really bad.

Gypsum is another plant that can cause hallucinations. Unfortunate;y, the trip dose and death dose are very close.

Kids these days!

They don't understand the difference between the sensation of intoxication and asphyxiation.

Natural Selection I guess.

LOL

Although they say that it is edible, the stinging nettle is a whole lot of no fun!

Yeah you need gloves when you pick them. They don't sting after they're dried.

Yes, it is edible and has healing properties. I just bought a bag from my local herbal store and drink it as tea to flush out my kidneys. All you have to do with the plant is harvest it, wearing gloves would be best, then plunge it in a boiling bath for a few minutes to deal with the stingers. But, for me, it is easier to just buy it, although I have lots of it on my property.

Hogweed must be really bad because our news stations are warning us of it.

Didn't realize stinging nettles were edible, but I know first hand they can leave a nasty rash if you accidentally come in contact with them.
