I don't see much point in it, honest people will get tracked and potential criminals simply won't register their firearms or wear a bracelet. Interesting though, that the gov wants to track owners. Especially considering the history of the 2nd amendment.

I think the bracelet technology is really a safeguard technology whereby nobody can operate the firearm but the owner. I don't recall there being tracking technology involved.
