Guns are not the problem. Finland is heavily armed by European standards and half as armed as Muricans, but you don't really hear any shooting here except for hunting season.

Quote:Finnish police fired guns only six times in 2013

in Finland, police statistics on using firearms also include cases in which the police used weapons as a warning or threat.

Well like I said, there's a lot of firearms in Finland. The numbers are the official numbers so they don't include unregistered guns. Knowing a bit about Finnish history you'd realize there would be a lot of guns floating around. They have these designated month or so in Finland where you can hand in your grenades and/or other wartime live memorabilia. No actually you don't have to hand any of it in, you make a phone call and they'll pick it up with no consequence except for a "thank you ma'am" perhaps.

So from where I'm sitting it looks like the problem isn't about the guns themselves...

Is it culture? This theory would heavily implicate Hollywood/Sony/BigShotAnything

its cultural.. its like trying to understand and reason with a muslim woman who loves to wear the burkha.. it aint gunna (no pun intended) happen.. the amount of guns in the US is extreme compared to any other country.. so of course countries without a gun culture are going to be like "gurl, what the eff is going on there"..

at the end of the day we are all foreign culturally to eachother, we just happen to speak english and like the taste of apple pie.. so for the most part we get along smashingly..

İmage
