We're having an evil wind storm. Temps are -3c (27f) and wind blowing 21 meters per second (47 mph)
According to yle.fi
Quote:Sweden and Norway were hit by a storm, dubbed Staffan, on Christmas Day. The system has moved into Finland, albeit in diminished form. Driving conditions will be bad and power has been cut from some 7,000 homes.
[...]
Windspeeds will pick up to record figures in Eastern Finland on Saturday evening.
It's truly evil outside. Feels like -14 c (about 7 f) and nobody is used to this as it has hovered at freezing or above the last month.
Awfully cold to be without power, and the winds are going to be increasing as the day goes by.

I am guessing you get bad winters in Finland?

They're actually not so bad. It's not the temps that bother folks, it's the winds. Brrr...

I watched somebodies Inflatable Zodiak Raft fly by last week

outboard motor on it and it was airborne skimming across the river

Wind on the Columbia River gets bad

3 years ago , same wind , same place , big ass trees were coming down
the river
then a Raft that time too

But let me tell ya about what I didn't see

I didn't see me cruise out there and grab that raft
