And he had insurance!! rofl.gif

Quote:A New Jersey teacher said he was charged nearly $9,000 after he showed a cut middle finger to a hospital emergency room aide.

Baer Hanusz-Rajkowski said he went to the Bayonne Medical Center last August after he cut his finger with a hammer and thought he needed stitches. He didn’t. Instead he was sent home after he got a tetanus shot from a nurse practitioner who also sterilized the cut, applied some antibacterial ointment to it, and put a bandage on it.

Then he got the bill: $8,200 for the emergency room visit, $180 for the shot, $242 for the bandage and $8 for the ointment, plus hundreds of dollars for the nurse practitioner.

I like this part

Quote:Linda Schwimmer of the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute said the right price for getting a finger bandaged should be $400 to $1,000.

rofl.gif Really? $1,000 to bandage a finger? That's more than I pay for health insurance in a year!

For profit heathcare is the 2nd biggest problem the States faces, the first is the lobby industry.
Until those elephants in the room are gone, expect things to progressively get worse and worse.

What amazes me is Americans generally think their health coverage is the best. emo-daj.gif

Just reading a couple who signed up for Obamacare paid $1575/mnth! then were told it was reduced to $1296.

And the deductibles are criminal. As an American, you get a first hand look at how the system should work.

We have to wait so gawd damn long inside hospital emergency rooms they make me wanna scream,so they might as well offer pretty young nurse lap dances, for those who can prove they have health insurance, all others too damn bad, while we're forced to watch helen degenerate on their television monitor screens...

Because tptb in accordance with their new world order agendas have done their insidious best to make everyone afraid of the system and paranoid of each other in order to eliminate our solidarity so we wont stand together in unified opposition against them and thats why most people robotically drag themselves along no matter how much they're beaten down and walked over and oppressed...
