Just came from another site I happened to stumble upon .

There is a thread going at the moment about a Lake Monster someone filmed .

I thought they were joking as I read the posts after watching the video . They were not joking at all !

The waves are CLEARLY from the SPEED BOAT carving up the Lake in the BACKGROUND !

It can take a few minutes for the waves to reach the other side on a Lake or Dam from a speed boat, as LOGICAL people who have actually been outside know !

I am actually amazed at their stupidity !

I've seen really long threads on the fakest of fake news. People don't often even read any more than just the title of the thread before they comment. There was a study of the conspiracy community recently that claimed they are, on average, low-iq individuals.

The video of the waves rolling across the Lake with the WAKE BOAT tearing up the Lake in the background was pulled within hours of this thread being started . They must have got that sinking feeling when it was pointed out and they had been on the TV News foaming at the mouth about the "Lake Monster" they filmed !
Their mates will never let them live that one down !  rofl.gif

I was reading some of the studies on the psychology of conspiracy theorists.

They have the "tendency to judge illogical statements as insightful or intelligent.

“These people tend to be more suspicious, untrusting, eccentric, needing to feel special, with a tendency to regard the world as an inherently dangerous place,” says Hart. “They are also more likely to detect meaningful patterns where they might not exist."

Marijuana Contains "Alien DNA" From Outside Of Our Solar System, NASA Confirms

It's big news, set to shock, amaze, and entertain the world.

But unfortunately, it's got nothing to do with extraterrestrial stoners melding with Earth's plants.

However, since you're now reading, you'll almost certainly be interested in this research that looked into the clicking and sharing behaviors of social media users reading content (or not) and then sharing it on social media.

We here at IFLS noticed long ago that many of our followers will happily like, share and offer an opinion on an article - all without ever reading it.

I am not so sure about that. My statement about another country bombing those freighters near Iran for a political move, or to prod the U.S. into war isn't illogical considering that that particular place in the world is indeed a dangerous place.

On other sites, a thread will sometimes have a " source" link that will contradict the OP's point. I'm the only one to actually read the source link and notice this.
