The Weather Channel online is predicting 15 straight days of thunderstorms or scattered thunderstorms. The rain and t-storms are late to arrive along the Emerald Coast so far, of course, because Aliens ions.

Florida gets more lightning than any other state, but not often ever 15 straight days.

Over here, we're having a cold, unfriendly summer.
Sunshine, most days, but windy and chilly.
Constantly 15 - 20 dgrs C colder than the rest of the continent, since May;
absolutely 0 signs of the media-hyped European killer heat wave.

Plants in my balcony garden half the size of last year. :(

But we all knew that counter-weight for 2018's scorcher of a tropical summer was coming.
Nobody surprised.
Balance must be, and nothing pleasant goes unpunished.

Happy as long as it doesn't snow, I guess.

:sigh:

We often had long stretches of thunderstorms on the east coast of Fl. - both central and south. Other than that, the weather is normal here in SC. It has been running around 90. Some days it is humid and some it isn't

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

Everyone realizes that the weather this year has been unlike any year ever before in almost every locale..

Panama City is not along the east coast in any way shape of form. The east coast is about 250 miles from there.

I"ve lived here for 20 years. The weather has NEVER been like this or anything like this in all that time.

Bocas Del Toro? American chick used to run the local expat bar, she was never friendly to me, as most other American expats for that matter.

Are you trolling? The Panama City that is 250 miles from the east coast is in Florida along the panhandle - it got hit by a fooking category 5 storm called Hurricane Michael eight months ago. The story might have been in the news.

Not lying, just mistaken about the area weather some of which might be distant from you. Also, when someopne says the weather was pretty much normal, that's not necessarily a precise measure.

Oddly, I want to say the weather here is typical...but I haven't studied past trends. So, I can't say that.

We are surrounded by forest, so that will affect weather (destruction for or against?) so I am learning at this point.
