I never vote anymore. Why bother, it's the choices that are blood curdling. Another Bush. The one that rigged his brothers second election no less.
Christie is disgusting. Pataki... Oyyy.... And Romney. Omg

if you dont vote in Australia you get fined, so everyone votes.. i guess it makes it a fairer vote on what the population wants.

yup.gif Exactly. Voters that label themselves independent is way up, and a lot of people have realized a two party system, wherein the establishment on both sides of the aisle favor the same corporate interests, isn't the way this is supposed to work.
And, by the looks of things, and bottom lines - it's not working.

Where else would you hear "I did time for not voting." By the same token, not voting is still a bad choice that involves leaving your say up to someone else.

Hm.

I just can't bring myself to believe in change
from within the system. It contradicts everything
I think I have learned about so called politics
by now.

Of course the bloody True Finlanders stole the
entire awakening. Exactly as scripted, vulgarising
parliamentary debate in the process.
- Now watch it go nowhere.
Hate to say it, but...Mein Kampf right again.
Shitfuck.

But if the Independence Party ever manages to
lure the slaves' eyes unto the ball, I just might
go help.

I mean, it would be great to see the horror in the faces
of all the Finnish political class, if some strong character
stood up in Parliament, speaking of the Elephant in the
living room.

Not to mention the crocodile under the bed.

Complete bullshit, unless you subscribe to solipsism.

You mean the great move towards the global corporate police state would stop,
the moment I quit paying attention to it?

Yeah, sure.

“A very prominent conservative Republican consultant called me last night and said that he spoke to Ann Romney over the weekend and Ann said that if Mitt runs, he will run as the first divorced Mormon candidate for president of the United States.”
