Where's Kennedy when you need her? She had the best info. Some models push the area of circulation now a 70% chance of becoming a tropical cyclone to Texas. Jeeeez seems like yesterday when Houston was torn apart from Hurricane Ike, not wanting to go through that shït again...

Blah blah blah..... What about old Tacolover? The guy that lives in Houston....Got 1/2 his shït blown away during Ike 3-years ago. ripped off by insurance company-lived days with no electricity in the sweltering heat. Left a BBQ/Smoker pit with a fire in the box for neighbors to cook off of.

Made Gallons of coffee in the mornings using gas grill sideburns. Gave away propane gas to neighbors........

Nooooooooooooooooooo, it's just "hope Kennedy is doing well" Screw Tacolover.....Blah Bl;ah Blah

They always say truth hurts.......gaah.gif

Don't feel that way. We hear from you from time to time. We have not heard from Kennedy in years.

Besides, I was just asking JR about you a few days ago! I was asking if he had heard from you lately.

So, how've you been? Long time no see. wave.gif

Hope y'all know I was joking around, I like Kennedy too. Still remember her calling me telling to evacuate and was mad I didn't. Wanted my address as she would come dig me out if I did not answer my cell phone... hug.gif Sweetheart she is. Hope she doing well also

Me, I'm ok. My Mother passed away a couple weeks ago and been a little tough. My daughter taking it very hard, she loved her Grammie.

Looks like I'll be at the funeral about the time the tropical cyclone wanna be will be drifting around the Gulf. Working on weatherizing my house now.

Thanks for asking...

Oh, man. Sorry to hear about your mom. That's one reason we will be moving back to the Carolinas next month. Our parents live there and they are getting older. We have been gone far too long. Scrappy's mom is pretty close with the kids, but her dad and my mom barely know them. Her dad had to receive radiation therapy a few months ago and a month later had a stroke. That was a real wake up call that we needed to get closer to family.

Pffffhhhht, don't start

If I was a heartless Schill for Big Oil I'd be rich and not care about the people or environment. That's why I was insulted and reacted the way I did. Too many assume.

Macondo blowout was still the hot topic at Houston's OTC Conference

Say, if you are still around, what are your thoughts on the current natural gas situation?

Regarding what? Availability, Fracking, use as a energy source???

What I am not happy about is electrical providers pricing usually followed the price of natural gas. Now not so with tighter emission standards electrical pricing is still rising to offset new generating plants.

Availability? Sure with new Fracking Technology there comes much higher availability of natural gas reducing prices of the commodity. Natural gas will be used more as a primary source of energy. But this all will take time. The cost is tremendous. Like I have always said it will take a diversification of alternative energies to curb the energy business shortages-but it's coming..

Fracking? I worry about it. Not the compounds used to fracture but the geological environment that they are fracking. There are a lot of different geological formations that hold a lot of pressure down there. Some formations are more brittle than others and are under more pressure. I feel that at present practices there is no way to control the size or direction of a fracture. If your Frack goes too far there can be severe environmental issues along with geological anomalies. Like earthquakes. Now that's a whole new ballgame earthquakes releasing smaller amounts of energy is better than larger earthquakes releasing larger energy.

Just my quick thoughts there buddy...

Ah, yeah I guess my post was a little vague. I agree with your fracking worries. I very basically liken it to putting micro holes in an egg shell. Eventually the shell is going to start cracking. Considering the tremendous pressure the plates are under, this could turn very bad.

and dance by the light of a Brand new Moon

Borders become none
