My older sister made me a warrior princess. She'd give me the costumes from the plays she was in and I'd dress up. I got a sword for christmas when I was 12 (I still have it), I'd take that and a princess gown and chase my evil brothers down riding (sidesaddle 'cause that's how princesses rode), on my pony. The sword got taken away because my mother thought I'd lop my pony's ears off. All they had was bow'n'arrows made with willow twigs, but I had a real sword and a horse and a princess gown.

One day my brother wouldn't get out of the outhouse so i stabbed my sword through the door. Maybe that was when the sword got taken away hmm.gif
