Honestly, this is the political equivalent of "putting the ball back in their court".
If O and Harry Weed don't go for this stop gap funding, the responsibility for what happens next lay squarely on their shoulders.
They are backing themselves into a precarious political situation. Refusal to go along with this indicates the ACA is more important to the Dems than continuity of govt. There is no common sense going on here, shutting down the govt for the sake of a wildly unpopular law is demonstrative of total lack of leadership, and misplaced priorities.
The Dems seem to be working their hardest to get the GOP in the majority of both the house and senate come mid terms.
