A neighbor is going out of town for the day and asked me to look after two little girls she cares for during the week while their mother works. What am I going to do with this? I'd really like something other than sitting them in front of the teevee all day. Maybe make Christmas cookies? They're probably pretty little for snowmobiling and I don't have a toboggan.

Any ideas?????

I'd teach them how to play hockey. After that, I got nothing.

Good morning Shadow, that's a bit tricky. If you have white and/or colored paper, then I'd say make origami snowflakes and christmas tree decorations.

Maybe take them outdoors for a little exercise, make snow angels, have a snowball fight if the snow is packing.

Good luck.

Good idea 13.gif I haven't got crayons so I'd have to improvise. Spray paint? I have bags of pine and spruce cones and a glue gun, maybe they could make tree ornaments. Popcorn garlands?

You beat me to it chuckle.gif yes decorations is a good idea and outside of course. I don't have winter gear for little ones so I hope they're dressed for cold and snow.

This is how my elementary teacher taught me .... very simple and it leaves one to be creative by cutting the paper in any manner they wish.

If not, take them out anyway for a little while, to make snow angels at least, then dry out their things in the oven at 180 degrees, like we used to do.
