Thanks JR, I'm fascinated with this program. Most of this stuff was random, No clue what I was going to get, but I'm starting to recognize patterns to what I'm doing. Hopefully Ill master this so I can control what I get.

Its kind of like type in GKD and get 6FW 37.gif

This a animated flythrough of the Basic formula. There are infinite numbers of Formulas and each one creates a new and different object. This is insane.

That program is awesome and I like the fact that you are surprised (pleasantly) at the outcome...order from chaos.

Starting to combine the Fractals with some post production work. What do you think of this?

I like where you were going with this, but doesn't it look somewhat pixelated to you?

It appears the more complex math the more pixelation...do you agree? If not, then go back to the first couple of tries and determine where you veered off from HD.

Geometria...

Lol. I'm a trial and error person. I just keep plugging away at something till it surrenders chuckle.gif

I found the step render feature, by increasing one step the render time increases by two hours. Looks like Ill be rendering these while I sleep. It does have a batch render feature. I'm going to try a few overnight and see how much difference there is.

Got up this morning and was messing with the Mandelbrot Set, I added a Julia set to the equation and the first output was this. damned.gif

I was doing some reading last night. The roughness in the output is normal. It actually has name 'Mandelbrot Crust'

It occurs in the banding of colors and not much can be done about it, other than post production editing in another program.

The deeper you go into a 'Bulb' the more distortion you get. Unfortunately that's where all the Gems are hiding.
