this invention may be of interest to those who are on the way to becoming deaf due to old age or work related noise damage.
I was always fascinated by Mr Spock pointed ears and wandered why aliens have pointed ears.
I have designed and created a soft prosthetis that fits on the top of the ear lobe and at the same time will stretch the lob upwards to change shape to that of of the pointed prosthetis.
the amazing results are immediate.
actually I had first conducted a trial with my deaf white cat who was profoundly deaf ....upon installing the small ear prosthetis the cat showed immediate signs of hearing and sounds recognition.
my invention immediately renders conventional hearing aids obsolete and my wife loves the look of my new pointed ears.

In case you are interested in the science behind this phenomenon is that by elongating the sensitive nerve endings in the lobe and increasing the reception coverage we gain at least double the sound collection just like a radio antenna with a satellite dish combined..
I have a white cat inherently deaf and immediately now can hear and even his vision is improved.
For the last 6 decades we have laugh at science fiction cartoons and movies but if you care to think about it all the then seemingly crazy science has now come true.
Science fiction was in fact mental revelation from aliens.

I am not questioning the elongation of the lobe to increase reception coverage, I just want you to post a pic of your design.

So you put junk on your deaf cat's ears and now it sees better?

He's probably just more aware of you coming over and sticking stuff on his ears!

Animals are pretty smart like that.

It doesn't take a deaf cat to understand how looney tunes you sound.
