When I was in Glasgow I landed in an IRA damned.gif bar with a Turk. Quite the trip that was. Then in Amsterdam I landed in a Spanish bar with a crazy Finn and an ex-pat Yankee rofl.gif God I love traveling. And Constantinople is next.

Anyone up for this?

Camel slow cooked in Moroccan spices is good. Snake was not bad in India. And the Monkeys brains in Indonesia, I wasn't told what I was eating until after! In Padang, Indonesia I was invited to try some local food. I sat down to a large bowl of rice with many very small bowls. In the small bowls were various different dishes to accompany the rice. When you had finished a small bowl it was instantly replaced with another. Well, there was this one small bowl that was delicious more than the others. And so I ate my way to 3 bowls of that. On finishing the meal and making my thanks I was told the 3 bowls I liked the most was, yep, you guessed it,'Monkey Brains'

True story.

I'd eat it. It's a damn shame to not eat or use every possible part of an animal killed for food.

http://kritterbox.com/Topic-Has-anyone-h...aroo-steak? Being a Kangaroo chaser from way back, outback of beyond, Roo meat is one of the most lean you can ever purchase. As with most other meats it all in the way you cook it, in this case the best way is to " sear it " and then put it in the oven and cook it slowly in a flat pan an cover with foil. If you fail at that, cook it quickly on high heat of over and open grill, preferably marinated with garlic other herbs of your choice. There is No cholestrol in roo meat. Yes I have and do eat it..............Bon Apertit.........Good Tucker Bossdrool.gif
