Another way to move forward is to write all your hurt down on paper, then burn it. Then, every time the hurt surfaces remember that you burned it.

Yesterday was kind of okay..
But today is shït.
I'm feeling so sorry for myself
and then I get mad because I should just be able to stop
you know,
everything in life goes exactly like it's supposed to.
But sometimes it's to much to try and be understanding and strong.
So today i'm weak.
I would like to crawl into a hole and not give a fekk..
Today I could easily throw away everything thats good in my life
my kids, my new school, work...
because today it's difficult to see the point.
no quotes, no affirmations, no nothing can take away the longing after the comfort that is no longer mine.
I hate these days when i'm not strong enough to be a good mother, friend or anything.
So tomorrow has to be better, it will be.

Thank you and sorry for whining.

You've got to learn to treat yourself Goldie

You said you're sorry for yourself - that makes 2 of you, and it's good
But you also said yesterday was strong and today weak - that makes 1 of you and that's bad.

Think of the things you like, you love to do and give them to yourself more than ever. Could be the craziest things, but as long as you love them give them to you more than usual even if you don't have to worry much for others more than yourself. In these times you must be the most important person to yourself.

It's easier said than done, but think about it, it works.
Some folks here mentioned wine, well if it's their pleasure they are right but it works for just them. I know others who love to spend money, they don't need the things but spending is their pleasure ......... crazy but that works too.

Find out what you love and give it in loads to yourself and good luck

Thank you CA for your kind words. hug.gif

I have had a lot to do though, that also helps.
And I have been given the opportunity to get out of town
a couple of times now, a little distance gives it more perspektive.
I have a hard time with cutting myself some slack,
so i'm gonna focus more on letting me be me..
if it makes any sense.. 37.gif
