Most people have this I only trust my doctor mentality. They are just practicing medicine.

me too.

of course, most ppl dont wanna hear it and will prefer regular doctors n pills for their ills.
i dont really bother mentioning things much anymore.
unless someone asks or there is a particularly cool article to share or something.

but from what i have gotten in responses before is that ppl will politely thank you, but have no intention whatsoever to even check it out.

so ğkk 'em. lol.

I told my mom when she was diagnosed with breast cancer that there are so many alternative treatments, but that she needs to research it herself, not take my word for it. She hasn't really done that so now she's on chemo, lost all her hair and has aches all over. She's not even started her radiation therapy yet, but is planning on trying all of the mainstream "cures". She knows I wouldn't, but I'm supporting her regardless. She doesn't need anything but positive vibes right now.

geez. sorry to hear that..

you know, my tcm dr told me that she is not here 'to go against' western medicine but rather she would work with them..

so i know that some of them will work along with mainstream medicine.
they can reduce pain, at least..

not long ago i spoke to an old friend of mine who is in terrible shape..
he has liver cancer, stomach too i think.. has lost teeth and well he is not doing at all well.
i spoke to my tcm dr about it, to see if he did go in, could she do anything.
she said 'for sure, i can help with pain'..
and probably even more than that i cant recall exactly all she said. but i know she said that much.

so it doesnt have to be one or the other..

i think alot of times it is likely that they are very scared having something like cancer.. so going with what is usually done is the most comforting idea rather than
trying something new at that point.

which i understand.. but if tcm (for example) could help in concert with regular treatments then it might be more acceptable that way for ppl.

Just Plain Nuts.

There are indeed many alternatives, but getting her Mom to do anything but mainstream chemo is a waste of time. *sigh*

Ginger extract may turn out to be more effective at fighting breast cancer than any drug currently on the market - so suggest the findings of a new study conducted by researchers from the Biological Sciences Department, Faculty of Sciences, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia, and published in the Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology. http://www.naturalnews.com/037503_ginger...tment.html

And there is CBD oil, etc. All falls on deaf ears.
