sorry but somehow i think he didn't grow this tree in the shape of a chair he looks to be in his late 40,s the tree is probably bout 70yrs

Bamboo grows real fast. Real Fast! Might have to modify the design by planting 8 or 10 shoots side by side. instead of just one main trunk. But its strong and durable. The down fall to bamboo is some of it is invasive. So choose wisely Grasshopper.

Thanks yes! Bamboo doesn't grow well here for some reason, but there are alternatives.
