I suffer from sleep paraylisis

This is one of the reasons that got me into the subjects of Ufo's and ET's.. My REM sleep is getting so intense now that I literally come out of a dream, while still being 50 percent in. I had a dream last night that some guy was choking me. I kept spitting and drolling out of my mouth, it was so realistic.. I then woke up feeling like I had been hit by a bus and I looked on my blanket to see a pool of saliva that I had spit and drooled out.

As for the sleep paraylisis.. its terrifying. I distinctley remember a time when was in that state. I opened my eyes to feel as though I was completley paralyised from my mouth down. I felt as though there was a 1000 lb weight on my chest. I tried to scream for help but nothing! Not even a peep! There is nothing scarier than this.. I then heard birds chirping and a strange voice say 'We are the universe.' This is when I saw the standard gray alien face.. but a little different. I cannot tell you how real this felt, it was unreal. BTW, I know my grammar is terrible, that I am working on.

Ever since I took myself off of this paxil I have been soooo damn tired and very heavy lucid dreams. I have been trouble staying up for more than 7 hours each day since I stopped it. I am going off topic, but..... yuup im getting sleepy again. Dammit.. Disregard this post, sometimes I just come out of left field with a bunch of jumbled up thoughts. This paxil brain zap thing is effecting my beer drinking..

I've had the same problem a few times in the past. It really takes the wind out of your sails when it happens. Nothing worse than having a demon in the room with you and you are awake but completely paralyzed to move.
I also hear loud music when it happens. It's a disturbing experience.

I agree with Ghostie here, at least on the melatonin chuckle.gif

Quote:In Finnish and Swedish folklore, sleep paralysis is caused by a mare, a supernatural creature related to incubi and succubi. The mare is a damned woman, who is cursed and her body is carried mysteriously during sleep and without her noticing. In this state, she visits villagers to sit on their rib cages while they are asleep, causing them to experience nightmares.

Interesting this is mostly affecting men... damned.gif
