Is the tree OK ?
Broken ribs will heal in a couple of weeks.
The bright side: now you can use Obamacare.

I'm in my seventh decade on Earth. I know things.

I had friends that were climbers in Sarasota. I can't say they ever talked about falling, but it does happen.
What type of internal injuries? Bones and ribs are nothing some Vicodin and doobie.gif wont fix.

I'm wagering you are a cursed SOB, it will be 10 times more painful, and last 10 times longer than you'd like it too I imagine.

I turned myself to consider wisdom and madness and folly
The wise man’s eyes are in his head,
But the fool walks in darkness.
Yet I myself perceived
That the same event happens to them all.

Did you hit your head? dont be afraid to go to the hospital,as disheartening as they are they will actually try and help you, that is if its not a tooth problem, because they wont infringe upon the big business of dentists...

This past autumn i was high up on a tall ladder, the straight up stretch out single type, not the safer upside down v shaped kind, about twenty feet up cutting down branches that collected too much snow and ice and so i'm sawing away with the top of the ladder resting against the big branch i'm cutting and snap the branch broke off and me and the ladder started falling with it and within a split second i thought,if i grab the part of the branch thats still attached to the tree i'll be hanging twenty feet up without a ladder and so instead i rode the ladder down and just before we impacted the pavement i jumped up and had a smooth landing and those few brief moments slowed down into like a minute of time almost standing still...

When i was like ten i climbed up into a large tree and then jumped out and landed hard feet first and suddenly couldnt move my head or neck and i was terrified for a few moments thinking about how i might stay partially paralyzed and then just tried turning my head fast and figured i would end up either worse or better and everything was functioning fine again and i was okay after my frightening adrenaline rush wore off...

My friend next door to my grandmothers house when she and i were about five or six she climbed up about fifty feet high into a tall tree and was so scared to climb back down she couldnt and she cried and screamed and the fire department had to come rescue her with a hook and ladder truck and she was the talk of the neighborhood for weeks (*-*)

rofl.gif oh man, you can't make that shït up rofl.gif what goes through your head in moments like that? I've been there, not 20' up but boards flying through the air, stepping on an unsupported end of a scaffold, just hit the ground running. But what the hell were you thinking sawing off the branch your ladder was leaning on?? lmao.gif

Ha haa haaa, true story, with the sharp as hell saw still in my hand, time doesnt stand still but it certainly does seem to slow down, must be some defensive chemical that our brains release naturally to soften the mental blow of being hurt or killed?! i dunno?! could be that?! (*-*)
