Hehheh,
that reminds me of

"Helena" in "The Holocaust" TV-series.
Talk about crush.
I remember blushing when Mom asked
if I was gonna watch the next episode chuckle.gif
Never missed one.

Of course, that was before I realized there
was a certain pattern to the whole "anti-
semitism!" propaganda...

I remember that show, but not the girl specifically. She must have made quite the impression on you. chuckle.gif

Back in the early days of st Judes children's hospital ,Marlo used to personally call contributers who had stopped contributing .
My mom and I both gave when we could ,but stopped when money got tight .

Must have been the 90s.
And I hear my mum pick up the phone ,and say ,"what's,no ..no ..." ,and then just hung up .
Marlos voice is unmistakable ,and I believe she even identifies herself ,and my mom said, It was Marlo Thomas asking for money ,so I hung up .

I just stood there, and I said ,YOU HUNG UP ON THAT GIRL !?!?
I was stunned ,but then I started to laugh

Yeah she's (Marie) pretty, but c'mon, 13 means she's just a child.

My sister also had a poster of Donny and Marie I remember.

All i'm saying and showing is how beautiful and talented she was even as a young teenager...

It was okay for the entertainment industry to exploit her looks and talents (with her parents permission and overflowing bank accounts) at age 13...

Wow cool story,i would have instantly hit on her and asked her out right over the phone, even if i was only a teenager and wether she was married or not and yes her voice is very unique and raspy and sultry and someone could be blindfolded while ten thousand women walked past them and spoke a few words and the very sexy voice of Marlo Thomas would undoubtably be easily recognized and noticable beyond all the others...

That pretty face and those sexy eyes and just hearing her sultry voice sends me into orbit...

39 year old Marlo Thomas in the snow...

Give money to st Judes children's hospital .Maybe she will call. She runs it all now. I think its all she does.
Danny Thomas promised that hospital ,in a prayer to saint Jude.
So he built it,and named it after him .
