Sweet gifts!

1. Choose Bookmarks→Add Bookmark, press Command+D, or click the Share button and choose Add Bookmark.
2. Choose where to store the bookmark from the pop-up menu.
3. Rename the bookmark or use the name provided by Safari.
4. Click the Add button to save the bookmark.

Good score, it should be pretty dependable. You can download Firefox for it if you don't like Safari. I think FF still supports those older OS's.
As far as secure, the older systems had that going on better than the new.

Is the OS Mac OS X 10.5.8 "Leopard"? That's as high as those pre intel power PC's would take.

yes
that's it OS X , all 3 of them

One needs the user password for me to get in , right now I working
on that
hint for the password is : Swede Beat ,,,,,,

Know any names for Swedish Beat Bands ?
somewhere to start is to enter band names

she left for california or I'd asker

I am messing with them and finding out how they work

On the one that is password locked I may load that Linux OS
that you posted for me to download JR .

One of these is the Aluminum Ibook g4 , I like it the best , but it
is also the one that is password locked

The biggest on , 13 inch I think , has a backlight too dim problem
but I fixed those , cable to inverter is faulty or needs to be unplugged , clean contact
and plug back . works sometimes .

I never used Mac Products before , these things have a help section that
i am reading .
so I may be ok

I have to find homes for two of them
I already have 4 or 5 laptops .

These were free , so I'll keep just one of them , pass the other two off
to a needy person .
Thanks for tips you two,,, speaking Octo and JR Bunnyhead

You can download a brand new OS at the link and install it over the password protected OS.

Did you try ABBA for a password? chuckle.gif

My sympathies.

The Appleverse is a whole nuther thing. I've got a fully loaded iPad and kinda' wish I didn't spend the 1000 bux. Perhaps if I were more mobile I'd appreciate it more, but it's just not worth the damn trouble to sort out the Safari browser.

yup.gif They are generally speaking, a more solid OS than Windows, and especially with OS X Leopard. It was made before all the security vulnerabilities crept in.
That's a light OS too, should be fairly snappy response.
I didn't know that Mac Trick either. Great find!
