Yeah it's pathetic. chuckle.gif

I'm a pretty good multi-tasker though. My no grain bread I just put in the oven will be done in 15 mins and we'll have that with home made mayo and chicken (that I boiled yesterday for broth) sammiches! BaconDance.gif

Both JR and I are pretty ok educated and all, but we share this dream of having a B&B somewhere in the world. We share the passion of cooking and spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

We're both pretty fukn good cooks. My daughter thinks we should start a restaurant. hi5.gifbeercheer.gif

If you work towards it a little bit every day, it will eventually manifest. One day you'll look in the mirror and say, "Hey! I'm a friggen Mountain Climber!" Even though you started by climbing trees.

If you want to be an artist, but for some reason you think you have to go to school to become a paid artist...

I did it for many years and I'm self taught. I ended up being an Art director for a Screen Print Company and an Advertising Agency.

When I was 16 years old I was a DJ for a radio station called KUPS 90.1 FM "The Sound".

It was the University of Puget Sound's Station.

So you see? You don't have to pay money for education.

Volunteer. make a deal with an employer and volunteer time. Then, as you are doing the things that they do... Don't look now but you ARE them. drinking.gif

Now you have experience and references. Rather than just a diploma and nowhere to go.

I know..... to me it's quite tragic, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I have done things that some people only dream about simply because i went for it and did it. I failed in some and succeeded in most.

I was just talking to my Boss today about all of the different things in my life that I have done, have all lead up to this one moment and it's now MY turn to shine.

I once read an old guitar magazine when I was in the ARMY back in the 80's.

There was a quotation on an ad for Marshall Amps. It said "You partied, I practiced. Now it's my turn to play".

That comes to mind.

Thanks, but we're talking about setting up shop in another country. This here is not an option.

You don't really need to tell me what to do. I have things pretty much under control.

I once watched a television show about ghosts and I saw a local ghost "Hunting" group investigate an old building. I was fascinated. Hooked, even.

So, I contacted them. I met with the President and joined the organization. I got my training. I put a few cases under my belt, I even taught a continuing education class at Tacoma Community College with Ross Alison of "AGHOST" as an assistant instructor.

I got my own Internet Radio show and was sponsored by several sponsors. I was Admin for several ghost forums. I have conducted countless interviews with people on my show and had a great time.

All because I was bored one day and decided to turn on the television while trying to sleep.
