Mercury wins. It's the planet where you are in the deepest gravity well when you stand on its surface. A lower gravitational potential means a slower passage of time.
It turns out that the Sun is a really important player here, because you have to overlay that gravitational potential on top of the ones from the planets themselves.
I find it puzzling that when its full moon in Sydney it's also full moon in Stockholm??
How can that be??
And why is it that wherever you are in the world, South hemisphere or North hemisphere of even on the equator like Singapore
The moon is always up the same way in the sky
this video creates more questions than it answers and it's a bit too simplistic for an intelligent person to follow.
what I still don't understand is why??
if the earth's equator and the moon's equator are aligned exactly on the same plane then the moon should not be visible ever from the south pole or the north pole
I have been to the north pole and can see the moon from there if I look up in the sky
why I am saying is that if the moon is down at equator level, if i am right at the north pole, I should either not see the moon at all to at the very best I should only see it if I look down
towards the equator.
instead I can see the moon only if I look up
why is this?? how can i see the moon way below me if i look up?
and how come no scientist can explain it?
