Ive been dabbling around with programs like Blender, Daz Studio, Bryce 5 - 7pro, and 3DS studio Max for around 7 years and Im getting where I feel comfortable sharing my work. These are all originals I created and they are free for you to use anywhere you like. If you can sell some and put a few dollars in your pocket please do so, no mention of me required. As you all know Im a Steampunk fan. Enjoy.

Very HD, but in the first pic, the shadow on the bottom doesn't seem quite right.

Nice catch that's from multiple lighting sources, sometimes things get to shadowed out to show the details, so an additional Light or sometimes even several are added along with the natural sun position.

These are all 3D models that can be rotated and rendered from any point of view.

Can you reduce it's width a great deal to resemble reality somewhat?

yeah you can actually blur the shadows and transitions as well as turn them off on individual textures in the scene. Its trail and error sometimes as you have to Render it to see the effect. Some renders take as long as 22 hours.

Im not no pro Im still learning the programs. The light lab is pretty difficult because at certain levels it starts adding Fog to the scene.

Then just ignore me about too much black/shadow if it takes that much effort because I am not a fan of the use of too much black, although I would experiment to see how much blurring I could do in a short period of time.

Heres one without the additional lighting added The natural sun position is set at around 11a.m. You can see how it adds a haze to everything. When I create the model I try and add as much detail to it as possible and it gets lost in the haze sometimes.

These machines are awe inspiring with great attention to detail and kinetic motion and they seem to me to be like the machines we might find upon an alternate earth where some things are the same as here and other things are different at least thats how your artwork strikes my eyes and mind...

I've been drawing from my imagination for around twenty five years using various combinations of regular lead pencils and colored lead pencils and colored ink pens and have saved a couple hundred of my best within laminated top loading folders inside a three ring binder for easy mobility and access and presentation...
