That's Windows 10 S.
It's designed to compete with Chrome books, which have a hd just big enough to hold the OS all the rest is in the cloud.
For $49 you can upgrade to Windows 10 Pro and get access to desktop apps.
Windows 10 S notebooks start from $189.
Internet only really at that price.

chuckle.gif I can understand him losing it, especially if he's playing Steam games. Heck, that's the only reason we use it at all.
If alternative program sources were no longer able to be run on Win10 Home/Premo I think most people would run back to 7, 8.1, Ubuntu, Mint or Steam OS.
I don't however rule this type of shenanigans out in the future.
I suspect Microsoft looks at Steam with envious eyes.

Yep Hes on Steam most of his on line time. Although this last weekend we were at wall mart and they had a sale table. Bought 10 Xbox games, $3 usd a piece. So he has been playing Xbox since Saturday chuckle.gif
