The truth is never at the edges but always in the middle somewhere.

13% of Israel society is hardcore Zionist and won't be happy until all the Palestinians are gone. Most of the remaining 87% are on the whole pretty decent people.

The 13% will continue to provide provocations and push to continue the annexation of territory.

I believe they are dead wrong.

Israel has a policy of targeted assassinations. This doesn't always appear wise and is morally and ethically questionable when directed at someone who isn't attacking you.

Some elements of Gaza society believe lobbing rockets into Israel is a relaxing hobby.

I believe they are dead wrong as well.

These Gaza attacks are unwise and provide a pretext for the 13% to get their licks in. Israel has the weaponry to really get their licks in.

This really should have been settled by now. Jerusalem and Bethlehem should have been made UN enclaves and taken off the table a long time ago as in the original UN plan.

Israel has to stop the stealth territorial acquisition. The Palestinians have to stop the rocket thing. The Palestinians don't get a lot of sympathy from me though - if you poke a tiger with a stick you have to expect to get clawed.

Wouldn't it be interesting if an errant missile hit the Temple Mount?

What a remarkable insight. I had not even thought of that but I have to say it certainly would be convenient. For years now certain groups have been preparing for the building of a new temple even to the point that they have already made and produced some of the items that would go in such a building. I can't remember the websites but there are enough of them regarding this. Great observation

IDF admits knowingly bombing journalists in Gaza

The IDF says it knew there were foreign media at least in one of the two buildings they bombed overnight. However it stressed that the journalists were not target of the attack, a spokesperson told BBC.

Dammit ~ get the bubbles out of the think tanks.

Forgotten that Israel ethnically cleansed Gaza in 2005 of all Jews (at gunpoint) and handed it all over, with undamaged infrasructure to the Pallis gratis ~ predicated on land for peace?

If Israel had the desire to do the genocide thing, they have the where with-all to carpet bomb the place.

Israel has no right to exist where they are?
Then neither do Lebanon, Jordan nor Syria ~ they were all created with the same pen-stroke as Great Britain divvied up the "mandates."

Every single Palli could be a millionaire a few times over if all the aid money sent by the west hadn't been skimmed off to Switzerland.

People just need to get the fuk over mistakes made by previous generations (every generation thinks it could do better) and just suk it up and get on with the business of living rather than killing.

I did not quote anyone ~ didn't realize it was mandatory ~ I read the thread/replies and made a general comment that addressed many opinions expressed.
