No,,,but because they would cut the military budget,,,

and negotiate peace with everyone,,,and have a couple

of worthless sanctions,,,and never have enough troops,,,

and live in fairy la la land,,,and in the end get us all into one big

huge all engulfing war,,,the likes of which we have never

seen before,,,and then they would run around and wet their pants,,,

and try to blame it all on someone else,,,and do nothing...

No I would not. The only reason his presidency was not a complete failure was because he got us into WW2. He not only provoked the attack by Japan he also knew about it in advance.

FDR changed America forever. The list, not counting WWII, of his accomplishments is huge.
21st Amendment to the United States Constitution, Banking Act of 1933 (Glass-Steagall Act) (after we repealed Glass-Steagall it took less than ten years to have another depression), Social Security Act - the most successful government program in American history. If he did get us into the war its a good thing. You would be speaking German or Japanese if he did not.

I support my kids no matter what. I can't however wrap my head around this particular question since it's a totally different scenario here. The majority supports the conscription and all parents here (with a few exceptions I'm sure) are proud to send their kids to the Finnish military. It's not a political issue.

A good friend in Indianapolis father was a friend of the doctor that autopsied FDR. He died of a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head. coffeetime.gif
There's something you won't read in the history books.

Social security is nothing more than a ponzi scheme that told people not to save money for retirement and instead give it to the .gov and now those people that didn't save money are screwed today because they spent all their money.

Its just another example of your ignorance and naivety.

See people this is the perfect example of a brainwashed American that believes all the propaganda in history books.

You're just another sheeple and at this point I feel sorry for you.

I love the "you would be speaking German" line that made me laugh out loud you poor ignorant person.
