Congratulations.

Now some advise, You need to get a delayed birth certificate for Miles

Did you have a Midwife? If so she should be able to get the paperwork started.

If not call your nearest hospital.

My son was born at home, we didn't get a birth Certificate back then and when he was ready for school we went through hell with the legal system obtaining one.

Nope no legal midwife just a "friend" due to weird regulations on rural home births.
The paperwork is a little easier here in canada, we wont have to go to the hospital for 2 weeks.
But i know what you mean, they sure dont make it easy.
We only got the birth certificate for our middle child this year.

Congratulations I would think its safer to have the birth on your own if your set up for it.
Hospitals can have and get staff infections etc these days more & more it seems.

yup.gif All too common, and I know they can be very serious and difficult to get over. The Finns traditionally gave birth in the sauna, it's basically sterile.
