I was there when he did it.

I wasn't invited to partake, but we all lived together in a friend's house in Tacoma, WA. and I saw the ceremony.

I was still in the Army. I was a musician as well and I was his Guitar Technician.

Soon after that, he formed a new band and they cut their first album. They have soared the charts for 2 decades and they remain one of the most honored bands in history. Especially hailing from the Pacific Northwest.

The witch that lead him to Satan to make the pact, I hear is dead now. As well as two members of the band he formed shortly after he sold out. One died of a heroine overdose in Seattle, in his condo, and the other died mysteriously. At least I don't know the cause. It appears those two had their own pacts that came due. When the bass player died, I was approached by a radio DJ who wanted to do a tribute for them. I obliged them with an interview as a guest on the show.

My friend became famous RIGHT after selling his soul. Within 3 years he and his new band was at the top of the charts.

He still lives to this day.

Can you guess who it was?

I will give hints if you ask the right question.

I believe I was partially cursed for observing the Ceremony, as my life has been a living hell in the past, since then. But has recently ended... At least it has stabilized.

Either people could care less.... LOL (I'm just trying to provide reading material) or they are having trouble guessing.

Here. I'll give you a hint.

Their music speaks for itself.

It's no wonder they have suffered tragedy. I suspect it's not over.

reminds me of a film I saw once about a guitarist who sold his soul to satan. I think it was called Crossroads but am not entirely sure. Was a long time ago.

I can see by your coat my friend you're from the other side. Just one thing I got to know. Who won?

So you actually know Jerry eh?

Interesting, because him and I come from the same school. I have to be careful when I do my own stuff that it DOESNT sound like him.

What is it with guitarists and Satan?

Does he like sound of guitar music?

Or are string picker's souls just that cheap and available?

IMO, to believe in Satan is a mega fail and an insult to the intellect of the creator. Why would an all omniscient god allow an entity to exist that is diametrically opposed to it?
I believe in the creator and have seen that force move mountains, it's not the god of the bible though.
Waiting for the bricks to be thrown at me. chuckle.gif
