One minute li'l negative detail with the Lenovo:

The bloody battery was dead for months, wouldn't
charge at all, until that grand old thunderstorm the
other week jolted it back into action.

Weird and wonderful shit chuckle.gif

Made me think perhaps the battery is not of the best
quality in the world... 13.gif

You mean a labtop obviously. Labtops don't grown on trees unless we're talking the tree of life...then they might.

I used to work as a tech and the brand that came in with the most failures was HP, I would not recomend one.

Never had any problems with any of mine. Maybe people who own the others don't think they are worth fixing?

The only real difference in them is the bloatware they come with. All the internal parts are outsourced.

What politics from both sides wants to teach us is that things are never complex. If you have your little package and something doesn't fit into that package, You don't know what to make of it so you want to dismiss it or then you will have to do the work of reconsidering your assumptions. - Michael Malice

Hi, I bought an Acer V15 Nitro Black Edition. Big screen, I7 8 core, Ssd, 8Gb of ram I think, and comes with extra baked beans and peanut butter.

This thing rocks the f*ck out of The Witcher 3 and anything else I throw at it. Battery life is terrible though, when you're playing games (which makes sense).

Plug it in to a power socket, add some decent speakers with lots of bottom end, fire up a game and prepare to get lost in a new world.

That's why I just leave mine plugged in all the time.

Unless you pay €2,500 or more for a laptop, real gaming should be left to the PC.
