Full moon tonight as well, tides will naturally be at their peak. Add a storm surge and it's a recipe for cluster ğck in the first degree.

Shakin the bush, boss.

Wind has picked up a bit, it sounds like we live next to a highway with a busy train track about a kilometer from us.

NYFD will be lucky if that crane's boom dosen't spear right into a subway tunnel, that would be nasty.

I guarantee the men who are called to retrieve that boom, if it remains attached, will be Ironworkers from Local 40.
It's a pretty dangerous assignment.

Hopefully tomorrow I can vent more about the chickenshit .gov piggies, and I hope the people who are displaced vote them out.

I'll be buying the baby a jeep this week, it's cheaper than worrying.

Our lights blinked about six times in the last two hours, but power is still on.

It's rain and wind people, in 30 hours it's over.

Ok guys thanks for checking in hug.gif

Bohica, that crane thingy does look dangerous, but from what I can tell iron workers are manly men that should be able to deal with it in a manly fashion.

Yankees! damned.gif I bet that made some intimidating sounds, thank goodness it didn't fall on your house.

Most of the trees still have their leaves, making them catch more wind.
We'll be losing more trees as the ground gets saturated and softens up, the root balls will then rip out water supply and sanitary lines.
There has been no power up at the cottage, I'll be breezing by there tomorrow to have a look.

I do believe that I have stated before that Ironworkers are "manly men, doing a manly job, in a manly manner."

I told the baby to come on up here, bring her guns, and the bug out bag. Wall Street is closed again tomorrow, she can work from here.

Oh yeah, it's a nightmare for the utility companies but that's why we all pay those exorbitant bills.
