Hello good people! I came across your forum by chance, and figured I'd leave a gift. My life's work is teaching people about what Yoga is, beyond the stretching, meditation, and breathing exercises you see in studios.

Here's a little "crash course introduction I put together: traditionalkriyayoga.com/about

I decided to post this here, since I feel most of you have some kind of affinity for truth, or at least a drive to understand ourselves and reality better.

I checked out your site Zimmer. I've been thinking about taking some yoga class or something over here. My back is crap and I think yoga could help.

Yup, a basic class will definitely help with back troubles, as long as the instructor is gentle with it and knows modifications for certain poses!

Pretty soon ill have some basic practices online that anyone can do.

There's actually a yoga class here in town that's specifically for people with back and neck problems. It's very popular.

Qi-gong techniques are very closely related to aspects of Yogic practice! I'm glad you've had good experiences with yoga classes :)

I met an amazing Swiss woman in India years ago. She would take some time off work and spend a whole week in some remote yoga camp in the jungle.

Never met anyone so happy and positive with life. Needless to say I could spend hours listening to her talk about the 13 chakras, I had such a crush on her.

That happy and positive outlook is just the beginning of the fruits of yoga! The jungle is interesting, but there's a lot more dangerous critters roaming about.. I like the mountains.

Hey bud! Thanks for the welcome :) I dip in to a lot of different places on the net.. I'm not really big on long discussions and chit-chat, but I like connecting with people and hopefully contributing positive thoughts and energy to the hive mind lol
