57 years i've lived here on this interesting spore in space,,

heh heh,,, as a Petri dish experiment goes,, the fungus in this one, is amazing to observe.

much more amazing to be mixed into even.

Above, JR's pic of Castro,,, once a rebel in a Jungle, swatting Mosquitoes and roasting dead
rats over an open fire,,,
planning violence against unjust government,,, and scratching his bug bites,,

a hero to his brethren

He get's the job done

and,,, THEN,,, as you see in the photo
He becomes the indulgent Monster he was fighting to destroy,, and is smoking his fattie cigar.

heh heh

57 years of observing " HUMAN NATURE ",,,
and it is still amazing.

Gandhi : " Become the change you wish to see in the World "

However, if it changes to what you wish it to be,,, human nature dictates that,,,
you'll become what you wished to change in the first place ( Note Castro above )

Human Nature,, yes, you will indeed revert BACK to what you wished to change in the first place.

here is ,, well, just follow this a moment

before i knew the word planet,,,
i was taken OFF Planet

5 years old
it was interesting, in that, i was looking at a huge globe,,, and had no knowledge before hand
that there was a Globe.

NEW ? yess it was knew knowledge

ok, given each piece of information about that Globe and it's inhabitants ,, i was learning more bout them at 5 years then most do in a lifetime

I was given a way of perceiving the organism,,, as myself being separate from it.

Guess what, Oil, is a poison,,, and THAT was a very important instruction about this Planet.

Try that, try looking at the WORLD as though "YOU" are not a part of it, as though "YOU" are from elsewhere ,,, in order to "SEE" from a Observational stance unattached to the World.

anyway, i guess conditioning would be hard for people to break.

But if you can do it,,, it may just POP a big epiphany into your perception.

Now, after that, revert your perception back, and see yourself as a piece, a pore, of everything in the World,,

heh heh
Change ?

Yes you'll change a bit, for a bit, but i bet you change right back

why is that ? Because it is safer and more comfortable,,,
and THAT,,, is Human Nature.

I believe that blows the mind of anybody who sees that. Probably new knowledge even for astronauts seeing it for the first time.

Octo and I have had lengthy discussions on how we both felt like we didn't really belong here as kids. For me it was like a kind "what am I doing here" feeling.
Very puzzling.
As for the observational stance unattached to the world, normally I couldn't have fathomed what the true meaning of that was, thankfully I was lucky enough to sample local delicacies....

in Florida and other parts of the world that allowed me to understand that all too well. chuckle.gif
That experience always stays with you. Being the part of the outside observer while still in the fishbowl can be quite enlightening, in the most positive way.

LSD 25

or,,, double barrel orange sunshine as we called it

strongest perception bender i ever met.

can't say what or how i thought before that trip

not sure how much of my perceptions changed to the good or bad

do know this:

Normal, is a perception, not a majority

if the Majority perceives it to be normal to wage war

then,,, i am one abnormal fucker.

See what i mean ?

That stuff was great, I wouldn't recommend doing it more than once a year though, it becomes less profound after a while.
