I confess. It was my fault. I actually logged on to failbook today and I think the shock was too muchfor their servers.

I agree. If this was world wide, multiple servers have to go down at the same time. Meaning, this was an act of man. Not just a glitch.

GMail appeared to go dark for millions of users of Google email service today, causing widespread pandemonium among users across North America and Europe for about an hour.

The trouble began at about noon Eastern Time, but Google did not confirm there was a 'service disruption' until 12:30.

The internet search giant did not specify how many users were affected, or where.

Didn't happen for me, but I can see that, seeing that google and Google mail are both CIA funded and tied together with facebook....

It could be hosted at a server farm that is having issues. I have seen multi-server MMOs go down because of server farm issuse.


Or it could be a sign of the end of days...

It looks like their DNS record was unavailable in some areas. Perhaps a bad zone file got pushed.
