Is it OK . . .

The fact that the southern hemisphere summer is the northern winter points to the angle of incidence as being critical. It's not the variable distance from the earth to the sun.

For example, at a 45 degree angle of incidence, solar radiation covers a 40 percent greater area and is 30 percent less intense than at the maximum angle of incidence of 90 degrees.

And where is the empirical evidence to support this rationale?
The sun's light hits the earth directly, like water pouring down on a roof.
If the angle made any difference, summer temperatures across the US would also reflect this ridiculous claim. But I have been in Illinois before when temps were higher than they were in southern states.

I also note that any anonymous poster who quickly responds to my points with establishment bs must be a shill, a paid employee of the Control System.
I calls 'em like I see 'em.

No, I don't think we rate paid shills on Kritterbox. I was just joking about him launching skyloons.

Why not? They are everywhere and beat down any truther who dares to question the Body Scientific.

I don't pretend to have all the answers. I do have proofs that the earth is not a spinning ball in a vacuum.

What is the sun? A nuclear reactor that burns hydrogen and helium? As Eric Dollard said, you will go to jail for speaking such heresy. He claimed the sun is hollow, a transformer taking energy from another dimension, and is dying.

Is it dead now? Are those UFOs that people are seeing artificial suns? esp. the ones which appear to have 6 or 8 sides?

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain an idea without accepting it. ~ Aristotle

Here is a simplified version of how the sun and moon travel.

And why am I having so many problems now when I try to embed images?

This is as good as it gets.
Google photos of earth as seen from space and see cgi. Lots of cgi. There are no (0) real photographs of earth.

1. clouds don't move during the 5-hour transit
2. size of the US is wrong -- at 3000 miles wide, it should be 3/8th the diameter of the blue sphere (8000 miles)
3. moon is 2-dimensionally flat and does not rotate clockwise as advertised by Nasa
4. moon travels in a straight line while the EPIC "geostationary" satellite maintained an amazing fixed position
5. earth exhibits a curious pareidolia in the appearance of an angry clown with one eye closed and the other one open and baleful (the dark object off the coast of California)
Overall, a slipshod product, its many glaring peculiarities a test of human discernment.

OK, shills, tell us again that it's a composite. All those "satellites" up there in space vacuum and we get artist renditions. For only $52 million a day for US taxpayers. What a bargain! sheepaid.gif

that angle is the reason why summer days are much longer than winter days
more sun hours = more heat

Not sure about the sky part. But she definitely got Loon right .

Freudian slip ?

This thread is creating a buzz on other boards, and new people are now coming to Kritterbox.

Grav was insulated and protected on another forum .

She was good for clicks but even they got fed up with her nonsense.

Now she’s fending off the wolves that are tracking her down .

Good Times

It's sort of pathetic for "the wolves" to be so threatened by a conspiracy theory.

Actually it’s a blast.

Payback is a MF.

Give it 2 to 3 years you’ll join the pack .

I’ve been asking about the sunsetting for two years and shot down every reply she had .

She can’t even be honest enough to say I don’t know .

Which to me spells troll .

Grav deserves everything she gets .

Sheesh.
And is it hot enough for you?

It's funny how we have summer here in the US of A when earth is 3 million miles further from the sun than we are in January.
That darn tilt! A couple hundred miles axial tilt (66.6°) makes a yuuge difference.

At any point in the next five years.

Are you going to address the two questions I’ve been asking you ?

You should go easy on her, she suffers from mental illness and everyone should ignore her delusions, and eventually she will move on to some other sites.

She feeds off people questioning her absurd lack of reason, and no, its a proven fact she lowers site visits, not increase it as per an earlier comment.

She is the equivalent of a planet killer asteroid in human form destroying forums.

Where the hell is jayRodney anyways? I am sure he would not tolerate this garbage.

Lets make forums 'Garbage Free' great again.

What part of composite don't you understand???
Nasa takes pictures from planes, then Photoshops them into a curvy creation. ta da. And a globe. ta da. They even admit it.
ta da.

When I showed the far side moon transit of earth to Mr. grav, he laughed. He didn't believe Nasa would do such a crappy job. Over and over -- and who cares? Pitiful. TV sci-fi has better graphics departments.

So, FD, ignore everything I present and whine about weight distribution of the universe, fps.  blink.gif
And the sun goes down at night, which in your mind proves that it moves .5 million mph, etc.  blink.gif
And I'm supposed to go down that road? To crazy town? Sorry, you have fun gibbering and jabbering with the nice folks who live there.

Well, ladies and gents, the dogs bark but the FE caravan moves on.

Gawd you are dense ! The SUN did NOT move away from us at ,5 million mph, WE ROTATED AWAY FROM IT , As we rotate, our own planet blocks the light to our position BECAUSE THE EARTH IS ROUND ! Your husband isn't the sharpest tool in the shed either it seems !

You are very confused, AK.
A raindrop seeks its level. It is not a pancake as it falls from a cloud. But when it finds a surface to land on, it most assuredly achieves flatness.

We tried that a few years back and began to fear for her safety. She does this out of a need for attention and lack of attention. Disturbed her so badly it became visible in her post .

Ranting, moaning and gaps in her text due to tears on the keyboard. It was frightening enough that now we assign people to fufill her needs and prevent self harm .

I drew the latest ticket .
