Quote:In a teleconference following the House Agriculture hearing, Just Label It chairman Gary Hirshberg said the anti-labeling push was "economic tyranny being exercised by companies that want to protect status quo."

"Mandatory labeling gives consumers choices." Hishberg added that the DARK Act, "is really diabolical and it’s really deceptive. It’s made to look like the sponsors support transparency but it really prevents it. This is really about selling pesticides and herbicides."

Quit touching - let alone eating - American (North & South)
produced foods long time ago. (Except coffee..!)
Just not to be trusted.

At first, I really missed bananas, but...no more.

Oh well, Europe will go the same way soon, it is just a
matter of time.

It was worst The Women organizations have been the for runners in the past for food labelling. Unfortunately the FDA sneek around the labels with loop holes and new engineering and big corporation tactics.
