when I lived in the mountains,,,at 11,000 feet it would snow about

120 inches a year,,,spent all summer cutting wood for the winter,,,

7 to 8 full cords of wood/year,,,ride dirt bike around finding down and dead

wood,,,all you could cut in National Forest,,,take 4 wheel drive truck and

cut wood,,,split wood,,,stack wood,,,all winter burn wood,,,snow would

be so deep that it would reach the roof of the house,,,only dig out front

door or back door,,,too much trouble to do both,,,make snow steps down

to door,,,look out picture window,,,snow would melt away a foot from windows,,,

you could see at eaves of roof neighbors boots walking by,,,just below

roof level,,,coming to visit,,,learned who was coming to visit by their boots,,,

cut so much wood,,,got really strong,,,and big,,,more than any exercise

video,,,bigger than work out gym,,,six foot two inches tall,,,220 lbs,,,

and they call me shorty,,,really???,,,wow,,,you must be nephilium or sumptin...

I'm awful tired of winter too gaah.gif It came early and with a vengence. Record snow fall and now it's -32, has been all week and power is out in town, I don't know why, maybe a transformer blew. So glad we have wood heat!
